assoc(key)

Same as ‘Hash#assoc` where the key passed as argument can be either a string or a symbol:

counters.assoc(‘foo’) # => [“foo”, 1] counters.assoc(:foo) # => [“foo”, 1] counters.assoc(:zoo) # => nil “‘
