existence()

Returns the receiver if the named file exists; otherwise, returns nil. pathname.existence is equivalent to:

“‘ruby pathname.exist? ? pathname : nil “`

For example, this:

“‘ruby content = pathname.read if pathname.exist? “`

becomes:

“‘ruby content = pathname.existence&.read “`

@return [Pathname]
